We are seeking an Escrow Officer in Sterling Heights, MI. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing the real estate closing transaction for insuring title insurance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required and Knowledge of SoftPro is a plus. Day to day duties include overseeing the issuance of checks/bills /statements/receipts, and any other documents needed to ensure customer satisfaction as well as managing the entire real estate closing process.
5-10 years of escrow experience (Escrow Closer, Escrow Officer, Title Closer, and Title Specialist would work for this)
Residential escrow experience is MUST
Willing To travel to different locations and train other colleagues
SoftPro software experience is Huge plus
This person would be responsible for:
Obtaining closing confirmation with title and leader instructions from title company
Audit the closing package received from the title company for errors
Collaborate with title examiners to resolve title issues
Work with escrow assistants in the real estate transaction process
