Document Management Specialist         

Accounting Principals is actively seeking a Document Management Specialist with a minimum of 1-year of related work experience for a full-time job with a well-established insurance company in Sacramento, CA. This is a great role that offers the opportunity to work with an excellent team for an awesome company.

In this role, you will be responsible for labeling and titling scanned images of incoming mail that is stored within the company’s software applications. You will ensure incoming mail is properly scanned and separated to company specifications and assigned to the correct claim.


  • Label and title scanned images of incoming mail accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify the type of mail received and label and title each piece of correspondence based on company standards and definitions.
  • Perform quality assurance review of all scanned images. If images do not meet company standards and definitions, they will need to be rejected and returned and scanned again.
  • Index and assign all scanned images to the correct claim number.
  • Provide effective communication with internal and external contacts.
  • Appropriately respond and resolve complex situations or problems.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and meet commitments.
  • Skills:

  • Possess and pursue expertise in data entry and labeling within a paperless work environment.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and provide solutions.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
