Calling all Non Profit professionals! Accounting Principals is working with a fantastic Non Profit client to fill a Temporary to Permanent Director of Billing position on their growing team! The ideal candidate is someone who has experience working with government contracts -- prior non profit and managerial experience is required. Responsibilities:
Overseeing Billing team and Finance Administrators
Directing timely processing of program/contract budget preparation and the billing process
GL coding of all received checks/cash related to programs/contracts
Coordinating and finalizing monthly billings/expenditure reports for City and State programs
Reviewing and documenting billing policies and procedures
Liaising with funders on a regular basis
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required, Master's degree preferred
Experience working within the Non Profit space is required
Experience working with Blackbaud is a major plus
Desire to mentor and develop staff
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Prior managerial experience required
