Work for a nationwide, multi-billion dollar company located in the Northern Suburbs. This role will be remote until June 2021. After that will be in the office in the Northbrook area.
Review deductions and deduction details from customer AP websites or check remittance
Create reports to manage deductions taken and take action to resolve the deduction taken by the customer
Maintain up-to-date spreadsheets of remaining deduction balances
Perform account reconciliation as needed.
Recommend reserve for uncollected deductions.
Review aging of assigned accounts including large, national accounts and manage collection of past due balances
Contact customer for payment.
Identify high risk / delinquent accounts and initiate collection action
Participate with others teams to communicate deduction analysis details, status, and participate in soloution
4+ years of corporate credit/collections, accounts receivable or deduction management.
BS degree in business related field preferred
ERP knowledge such as SAP and TREND preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize; detail and results oriented.
