Hi there!

We are actively seeking to add to our underwriting department in our Downtown Sacramento office! 

We're a state-wide healthcare association and would require a candidate who can handle high-volume alphanumeric data entry, specifically transcribing policy info.  The position is permanent (direct hire) and will have a work from home option until mid-2021, at which time we will re-evaluate whether or not we will be returning to in-office work or not.

  • Performing data entry of all policyholder information and changes into the database
  • Performs alpha numeric data entry for all new insurance applications, coverage endorsements, profile changes, cancellations & reinstatements into our system.
  • Maintains 95% or higher accuracy on all entry
  • Reviews Multi-Line discount reports for all lines of business and applies/removes discounts as appropriate.
  • Attends related meetings as directed by management.
  • Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred but not required. 
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience of alpha numeric data entry.
  • Proficient computer skills, including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to be proactive with tasks and think ahead. 
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Insurance or Mortgage industry experience nice to have.
  • Guidewire software experience nice to have.
