We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Role in Grand Rapids, Mi in this role you will be responsible for providing support to internal and external customers including order entry, phone support and communications about their products!
Order Entry and order acknowledgements done within one company timelines
Verify data such as product codes, customer purchase order numbers, payment terms, shipping terms consistent with customer information in customer master files
Communication with customers via phone, email and chat sessions providing information relevant to commercial food service products
Maintain and file customer orders and returns and credits
Customer Service experience (minimum 3 years) preferably in manufacturing organization.
Ability to use judgement to resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
Oral and written communication skills: ability to handle large volume customer calls with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Understand bills of materials and/or parts lists for production
Analytical skills: able to assist customers in identifying solutions for their food service needs. Prior experience in food service industry is a plus.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, EDI, Excel and Word
ERP experience preferred
