An Orlando-based consumer goods manufacturer is seeking a Credit & Collections Manager to lead a team of 5-10 Collections Associates. This individual must display strong leadership skills and the ability to drive and motivate a team to deliver results.

**B2B experience collecting on corporate, national, and wholesale accounts preferred

  • Collect open invoices and short-payments; document attempts and follow-up communications
  • Minimize customer discounts; issue credits and post journal entries for valid payment deductions
  • Account reconciliations to identify outstanding balances caused by pricing errors, returns, inventory inaccuracies, etc.
  • Weekly audit of cash balances against billing, received payments, credits issued, merchandise sold, and remaining inventory
  • Utilize Excel to manipulate data before uploading to web-based accounting software
  • Requirements:

  • 5-10 consecutive years of related commercial Credit & Collections experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or accounting; and/or relevant work experience
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements and identify credit risk factors
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking with a high degree of problem-solving skills
  • 2+ years of recent Excel AND Great Plains, JD Edwards and/or Oracle experience
