Rapidly growing distribution company in Maitland, FL is searching for a Credit Clerk to join their team. The position will provide administrative support to the Credit Manager. This is a contract to hire opportunity!

 

Responsibilities

  • Processes and verifies applications for credit
  • Conducts credit references
  • Updates customer credit limits as appropriate
  • Creates customer correspondence relating to past due amounts owed and credit terms
  • Creates past due amounts owed reports 
  •  

    Experience

  • Minimum one year of prior credit experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  •  

    Skills/Knowledge

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and quick learner
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  •  

    Education

  • High school diploma
  •  

    Work Hours/Pay Rate

  • Mon-Fri. - 40 hours per week
  • $15-17/hr.
