An exciting Cost/Project Accountant role is available right now with Accounting Principals in Jacksonville, FL. They are growing exponentially and are looking for a great candidate that is looking to join their team. Ideal candidate will have experience handling cost analysis of projects and estimating the costs and profits with a background in general contracting, property management or plumbing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet with project managers and other internal or field personnel on a regular basis to discuss the status of current and on-going projects or jobs, including “open” accounts receivable/invoice issues.
  • Assist with accounts receivable, specifically working with internal employees to insure accurate and timely invoicing for various departments/divisions
  • Manage corporate credit card program, including working with internal employees to reconcile monthly statements as needed and ensures proper documentation and procedures are followed for timely monthly payments

    Technical Skills:

  • Spreadsheet software
  • Sage 300 or Timberline


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training

    Pay: $26/ hr
