Corrections & Dispute Auditor

Description of Essential Job Functions:

  • Research, audit and correct disputed invoices submitted by internal and external customers
  • Determine root cause of disputes and report process deficiencies and needed improvements
  • Analyze invoices for billing accuracy
  • Apply logical and independent thinking to evaluate options
  • Ensure we are in compliance with Sox Audit requirements
  • Ability to perform analytical thinking to audit and process rebate incentive payments 
  • Process Corrections and Disputes (DRPs, WNI Appeals, MASS rerates and Overcharge Claims)
  • Prepare and submit coding requests
  • Timely response to customer telephone and email inquiries
  • Perform imaging
  • Maintain departmental productivity goals
  • Work with all other departments to ensure accurate invoicing and dispute resolution
  • Participate in projects as assigned
  • Perform other duties or adhoc request as needed
  • Prompt daily attendance at assigned work station
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Prior experience in freight transportation or logistics environment preferred
  • Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Ability to interpret contracts
  • Ability to analyze data to determine root cause
  • Strong communication skills; phone etiquette, vocabulary, written communications
  • Ability to prioritize work toward department and company goals
  • Ability to work in a team environment with shared responsibilities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
