ACCOUNTANT I (Nashville, TN- Donelson Area)

 

Accounting Principals has partnered with a global Fortune 500 to idnetify a Coprorate Accountant I to join this organization's finance and accounting team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this person will be responsible for preparing financial reports, month end close, accruals and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, 1 year of full cycle general ledger experience and be an advanced Excel user. This position plays a key role in  contributing the company's bottom line and is also an ideal opportuity to get your foot in the door with an organization that values internal career progression. 

 

Responsibilities 

Compile, consolidate and conduct basica analysis of accounting and finance information 

Make accounting  adjustments through appropriate journal entries for intercompany accounts

Prepare tables, charts and other exhibits for reports

Prepare monthly jounral entries, accruals, statements and account reconciliation as required to close the monthly fiscal period

 

Qualifications 

Must have Bachleors Degree in Finance or Accounting

Minimum 6+ months experience in a similar role (Full cycle GL)

Advanced Excel User

$48-53,000/yr

 

Location: South Nashville (Onsite/Remote blend)

Employment Type: Contract to Hire 

Hours: M-F (7-4 or 8-5/40 hours plus OT during  Month End)
