Accounting Principals is recruiting a Contract Administrator to join our client on a contract basis (approx. 6 months) on the south side of Indianapolis. This client is seeking an individual with an analytical mind (someone who can crunch numbers, detail oriented to not miss things/make errors, etc.). This would be an in-office opportunity. 

Job Duties:

  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions, coordinate technical scopes of work including interface with all disciplines (such as project management, legal, marketing, pricing management, product management, services, finance/accounting, and customer) to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pricing strategies to perform financial/commercial analysis and potential risks for contracts to achieve revenue goals.
  • Analyze commercial sections of proposals and create pricing evaluations. Prepare contract recommendations, and present recommendation to project team and/or customer.
  • Lead internal stakeholders’ meetings, conduct pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and drafting/finalization of contract documents.
  • Perform contract management post-award (governance) activities through evaluating and status customers' productivity, volume adherence, and contract change management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and affiliates to analyze potential risks on possible contract changes, particularly from a commercial level.
  • Perform closeout of contracts, finalize outstanding contract issues, invoices and coordinate completion of customer performance evaluations.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in relative field or high school diploma with relative work experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of two years’ experience reviewing and executing contracts for approval in a construction environment preferred.
  • Must be cross-functional process oriented as well as can communicate effectively across the organization
  • Strong contract modeling software skills and knowledge of SAP and/or Salesforce.com
  • Ability to perform financial and commercial analysis, with the ability to read and interpret contracts and commercial documents
  • Ability to create and maintain workflows and procedures, with ability to multi-task and prioritize to achieve goals
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and have an excellent ability to focus on the task on hand.
