Accounting Principals is working to fill a Billing Administrator opening with our client, a growing construction company located in the Phoenix, AZ. They are looking for someone with at least three years of billing experience in the construction industry, including a knowledge of progress billing and contract administration.
This role will involve reviewing contracts, billing customers based on the progress of the project and assisting the team with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies. This person will be working in a variety of systems and coordinating with the Sales department, Project Managers and other internal departments on a daily basis.
Reviewing and analyzing contracts
Onboarding new customers and establishing billing and payment terms
Completing regular progress billing based on project completion and billing schedule
Updating customer accounts based on contract and progress changes
Reconciling customer accounts on a consistent basis
Assisting the credit department with collections and billing related discrepancies
Generating reports to assist with the month end close process
3+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry
Must have working knowledge of progress billing and contract administration in the construction industry
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics software is a plus, but not required
Must be a self starter
Must be adaptable
Strong attention to detail
Permanent / Direct Hire
Location - Phoenix, AZ (Must be local)
Pay - $55,000 to $60,000 per year
