We are currently seeking applicants for a Construction Accountant role with a company in Greensboro.  Don’t have construction accounting experience?  That’s okay!  This role is primarily focused on general accounting while the construction accounting can be trained.  This role is responsible for processing the accounting for several national accounts and ensuring all invoicing has been completed correctly.

An ideal candidate has 3-5 years of accounting experience, strong excel skills, experience with processing lien waivers, and strong accounts payable knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Track and maintain vendor, expense, and project information files
  • Review records of accounts and input entries into proper general ledger accounts
  • Maintain a portfolio of national accounts, ensuring all necessary accounting has been completed
  • Research supply chain issues and resolve with chargebacks
  • Collect, verify, and correct all invoices related to jobs and job costs
  • Other general accounting duties as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field, highly preferred
  • 3-5 years of general accounting experience
  • Construction experience highly preferred
  • Strong Excel skill (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
  • Excellent Communication Skills
