Accounting Principals has partnered with a global packaging and distribution company located in Phoenix, AZ, to find a Commercial Collections Specialist for their growing team.
They are looking for someone with 2+ years of business to business collections experience on a full time basis. This person should also be tech savvy, a great communicator and be a natural problem solver. The primary focus of this job will be to maintain consistent contact with an assigned portfolio of business clients to ensure the billing and accounts receivable process is as efficient as possible.
Speaking with clients via phone and email to obtain updates on past due invoices
Resolving billing disputes or invoice issues
Initiating adjustments and/or credits
Ensuring client accounts are reconciled each month prior to close
2+ years of business to business collections experience
Strong technical skills and the ability to work in multiple systems
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work and problem solve independently
Self starter and initiative
