We are looking for an accounting professional for a new job opportunity in Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of collections experience good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
Effectively manage collections activities for a large, multi-state, customer account portfolio
Resolves client-billing problems and rescues accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management.
May perform credit analysis on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one-year B2B collections experience
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Professional customer service skills
Associates degree highly preferred
