Accounting Principals is partnering with a large company in Lansing, MI area to identify 3 direct hire Collections Specialists for their team. You will be cleaning up accounts, reaching out to clients, and researching missing payments. Since this will be a robust role, you need to have at least two years of previous B2B collections experience. Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, will be crucial for your success in this position because a lot of your daily tasks will be reaching out to their large, important accounts. This position offers a quick interview process and an excellent team to work with on a daily basis!
Researching accounts and reaching out to clients for payment
Composing and re-sending out invoice
Updating aging reports and processing payment
Communicating with clients to troubleshoot account status
Additional projects as needed
At least two years of B2B collections experience
Professional communication skill
Proficient Microsoft Excel skill
Ability to actively reach out to clients and create payment plans if needed
