Accounting Principals is partnering with a unique company that is looking for a temporary to hire Collections Specialist. This company has been able to stay busy and is behind in their AR records. You will be researching accounts, reaching out for customer service calls or emails, and be updating the aging reports. Professional communication skills will be key for this position since you will be coordinating with external clients. At least a year of AR or collections experience is preferred and experience with more than one accounting software system would be helpful because you will be working between three of them. The location is around the downtown Seattle area, but you will start out in a remote capacity. You will work with a supportive manager in a company with growth potential.
Researching and reviewing accounts
Troubleshooting missing payments and updating client records
Responsible for the weekly aging reports
Additional duties as needed
At least a year of AR or collections experience
Professional communication skills
Experience on different accounting software systems
Comfortable working independently and staying on task with little supervision
High attention to detail and accuracy
Remote to start
7:00 am to 4:00 pm or 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
