Accounting Principals is working with one of our best clients looking to fill a Collections Specialist job for the corporate office located in Walnut Creek, CA.   You should have at least 5 years of experience as a Collections professional.  You will be responsible for handling a large portfolio of clients, manage the aging, able to prioritize work based on the aging and any changes in the aging, engaging clients with phone calls and emails, reconciling accounts, and assist with any projects as assigned.                                                                                                                                              

Qualifications for the job include:

- Comfortable working in-office

- Excellent communications skills and great at building and maintaining relationships

- Solid knowledge of accounting understanding your general accounting debits and credits

- Strong reconciliations skills

- Able to work independently and be part of a team

- Reliable, a positive attitude, and dedicated 

- Attention to detail, analytical, and organized

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 5 years of experience in a collections position

Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00
