We have partnered with a Coppell TX based transportation and logistics company to find a Collections Admin for a contract to hire opportunity paying up to $19hr. This role is responsible for effectively assisting in the management of accounts receivable. The primary responsibility will be to obtain payment status from debtor portals, handle inbound calls from debtors requesting assistance/paperwork, short term projects and various administrative tasks.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Search for and identify payment status for outstanding invoice on various customer web portals.
  • Research and analyze accounts prior to initiating debtor contact examining historical data and evaluate past resolution efforts.
  • Record resolution notes in proprietary system of the above facts and set necessary follow-ups.
  • Gather account information and disseminate to the client’s account management team as requested  
  • Work with members of the Account Management team throughout the account resolutions process.
  • Contact debtors to obtain remittances or to assist with the reconciliation of Open Credits.
  • Send requested monthly statements to debtors.
  • Process missing paperwork requests from debtors.

    The Ideal Candidate:


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a customer service role is required.
  • Data Entry experience is also required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suites.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay focused at high levels of productivity.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, in-person and over the phone.
  • Excellent phone etiquette. Must be courteous and professional when dealing with past –due customers.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace work environment with a high degree of accuracy.
