Accounting Principals has collaborated with a client located in the Houston area, who is seeking to bring on a Collections Specialist for a long-term temp assignment. If you have a credit and collections background this assignment could be perfect for you.
The ideal candidate will perform all duties assigned in a satisfactory manner. The candidate should be detail oriented, a problem solver, has the ability to work in a fast – paced environment and has working knowledge of JDE software and MS Excel.
Contacting clients on past due accounts, resolving any account disputes and respond to client inquiries
Prepare and present reports on collection activities and efforts to clear account
Maintain and monitor assigned accounts daily and update statuses accordingly
Create and sending out account statements to clients
Follow – up with clients by email about account balances
Collections and Accounting experience is a must
MS EXCEL – Pivot Tables and VLook ups
JDE software knowledge
Great communication and intrapersonal skills
Team oriented and have a proven ability to interact with all departments at all levels
