Accounting Principals has partnered with a Fortune 500 insurance company to hire a Bill Management Analyst. You will be responsible for the efficient and accurate data entry and review of non-medical related invoices for the Workers’ Compensation Claims Department.  This position is 100% on-site in downtown San Francisco and is BART accessible! 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review invoices provided via email and batch invoices for processing.
  • Review requests for past-due invoices and research invoice information and coordinates with claims professionals as appropriate.
  • Update providers with status of past-due bill.
  • Review scanned images of incoming non-medical related invoices. Perform quality assurance review of scanned images and confirms a valid claim number.
  • Index and assign all scanned invoices to the correct claim number. Investigate claims management system to match invoice to the correct claim number reviewing last name, first name, employer, date of injury, claim numbers, etc.
  • Data entry of invoice detail into the claims management software, to include dates of service, billed amounts, payment codes, invoice date, invoice-received date, and invoice number.
  • Perform special assignments and projects as assigned
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in any relevant field preferred
  • Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience with invoicing
  • Experience with general ledger helpful, but not required
  • Previous experience in insurance environment, preferred.
  • COMPENSATION:

  • $20-$22/hour depending on experience
  • EMPLOYMENT TYPE

  • Temporary,
  • Fulltime, Monday-Friday, 40-hr/week
