Responsibilities of this Certified Payroll Specialist job include:
Manage third party payroll tax reports
Verification and implementation of payroll deductions, elections and garnishments
Complete and file payroll related hours and earnings audits
Keep policies and procedures updated
Process certified payroll reports in a timely manner
Quarterly and yearly payroll tax reporting
Responds to regular and escalated requests
Help with HR functions such as onboarding new employees
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years of experience processing high volume certified payroll
Demonstrated knowledge of construction payroll is required
Solid organizational and strong verbal and communication skills
Extensive understanding of labor compliance policies, procedures, and practices
Ability to effectively work independently in a fast paced environment
Strong work ethic and detail oriented
