2 Cash Reconciliation Specialists
hourly position between $40K - $45K.
Interviews are preferred through Zoom.
Training will take place in person within the office, with potential to work from home after training and proven ability to work independently.
Must have a personal laptop or desktop to work from home.
Strict COVID-19 safety measures in place for those working in the office.
Strong reconciliation skills

Accounting and/or Cash Application experience (preferred)
Journal entry preparation and knowledge (preferred)
PeopleSoft system knowledge (preferred)
Home Health care experience and/or knowledge (preferred)
The cash reconciliation specialist is responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of daily deposits for multiple bank depository accounts. This includes analyzing, investigating, and timely resolve of all cash transactions.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete assigned bank reconciliations daily and prepare journal entries related to cash.
Maintain detailed Microsoft excel spreadsheets that record and track daily deposits.
Record payments, Medicare settlements, and adjustment activity.
Record and reconcile discrepancies; work with the billing and accounting teams to ensure accuracy of payments posted. Review and communicate necessary corrections on all cash variances.
Comply with all departmental processes and procedures. Work with management to improve current processes for the accounting group.
Assist with ad hoc projects, as necessary.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have at least two years of demonstrated experience in cash management or banking and accounting. Must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office, especially excel and word.
An associate degree in finance or accounting is preferred. Five years of demonstrated experience in cash management or banking and accounting is preferred. Previous experience working for a multi-location retail or health care company is preferred. Previous experience in PeopleSoft financials is preferred.
