Cash Applications Specialist

Accounting Principals is actively looking for a Cash Application Specialist for an excellent direct hire opportunity with a well-respected company in the manufacturing industry that is located in Parma, Ohio. The company is known for their excellent tenure, fun working environment, and excellent culture. To be considered for this opportunity, they prefer that you have at least one year of profession experience in either Accounts Receivables or Cash Applications. Responsibilities:

  • Process and accurately apply all incoming invoices
  • Responsible for working with checks, credit cards, daily cash, electronic lock box, and wire transfers
  • Reconcile cash receipts to bank records
  • Researches and resolve payment discrepancies and follow up with Credit Analyst
  • Handle daily mailings and maintain filing
  • Prepare bank deposits daily
  • Assist the Credit Manager with other daily tasks as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of related Accounts Receivable or Cash Applications experience
  • High School diploma
  • SAP experience is a huge plus but not required 
  • Intermediate experience with Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire

    Work Hours: 40 hours per week

    Compensation: $17 to $19 an hour, depending on experience
