Cash Applications Analyst


In this role, you will be working within AR accounts, reconciliations, and researching and unapplied or miss-applied payments needing to be resolved. This role is perfect for someone with an Accounts Receivable background who loves investigating issues and working with numbers! 



  • Process and record daily payments to customer accounts through ERP system
  • Navigate through spreadsheets, banking portals and internal software to balance and reconcile cash receipts and statements 
  • Adjust accounts as needed through crediting, verifying deductions, rebills and debits
  • Research errors in AR accounts, provide documentation and resolve discrepancies while in coordination with other departments
  • Create and review reports for Management outlining AR balances monthly, aging reports, unallocated payments, DSO and other key-metrics
  • Review invoices for accuracy and work with customers to resolve continuous or ongoing billing issues 
  • Complete special projects quarterly or annually in coordination with Management

    The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a heavy cash focused role with a mid-size organization
  • Advanced Excel experience including formulas, large data spreadsheets and functions like pivot tables
  • Degree in preferred but not a requirement
  • Must have experience applying ACH, wire-transfers, and lockbox payments
