Accounting Principals has a temporary opening for a Budget Analyst. The successful candidate will be experience in budget formulation, analysis, and implementation.  Pay will be dependent upon experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Compiles and balances tentative and final sub-budgets
  • Researches and resolves complex problems in budgeting, completion of financial transactions and general fiscal procedures
  • Assists with the implementation and maintenance of the budget
  • Collects and analyzes data for financial reports and surveys
  • Reviews operating budgets periodically and analyzes trends affecting budgeting needs for the future
  • Maintains filing system of budget materials for historical information
  •  

    Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or 8 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Four years of experience in budget formulation, analysis, and implementation
  • Ability to analyze financial data, possessing good mathematical and reasoning skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes, accounting practices and financial reporting
  • Flexibility, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  •  

    Employment Type: Temporary, 1-2 months

    Employment Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
