Accounting Principals is seeking a Bookkeeper with one or more years of experience for a healthcare company in Las Vegas, NV.  This contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to work with a growing patient-focused organization.

In this role, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the company’s financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, reports, and payments.  Our ideal candidate has a solid background in accounts payable/receivable, can multi-task, is attentive to detail and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.  If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply online today!   

•    Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
•    Use the QuickBooks Online bank feed feature to accept and match transactions
•    Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct ledger
•    Bring the books to the trial balance stage
•    Perform partial checks of the posting process
•    Follow up on delinquent accounts
•    Enter data, maintain records and financial statements
•    Process accounts receivable/payable
•    Invoicing and managing accounts receivable
•    Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
•    Reconcile the Point of Sale system with QuickBooks Online
•    Maintain and adhere to internal control procedures
•    Produce ad hoc reports

Skills and Qualifications:
•    Proven bookkeeping experience
•    Demonstrates a strong understanding of accounting processes
•    Good working knowledge of AP, Payroll, monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
•    Understands debits and credits, assets and liabilities, and journal entries
•    Proficient in utilization of data entry skills and Microsoft Excel
•    Excellent QuickBooks Online experience and skills
•    Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
•    Strong problem-solving skills
•    Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
•    Ability to meet deadlines
•    Ability to work independently with limited supervision
•    Able to handle multiple projects/tasks
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Able to actively listen and employ information received
•    Able to maintain professionalism and customer focus in a stressful and fast-paced environment
•    Able to receive and provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback
•    Must be able to type a minimum of 50 WPM (all candidates will be required to complete a typing test if chosen for an interview)
•    Current driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle at all times

•    At least one year of related experience

Employment type:
•    Contract-to-Hire

•    $24.00 – $30.00 USD per hour

Work Hours:  
•    7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday
