Accounting Principals is partnering with a company to help fill their full charge bookkeeper opening in Tacoma, WA. Ideal candidate will have at minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience and ability to use QuickBooks proficiently. This is contract to permanent opportunity with our client wanting to convert the employee after 2 months. Below are more details about this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full cycle accounting duties
  • Reconcile back accounts
  • Process employee time sheets and payroll
  • Issue checks for bills
  • Ensure all expenditures are categorized appropriately
  • Proactively maintain highly organized filing system
  • Provide monthly reports to the President and CEO
  • Assist in the development and implantation of systems and procedures
  • Work with other departments as needed

  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a full charge bookkeeper
  • Associates Degree is preferred
  • Proficient in QuickBooks
  • Need to understand GAAP principals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
