Accounting principals has partnered up with non profit in Tacoma Washington that needs a self-sustaining and highly motivated bookkeeper. This role will be purely an accounting-based role with administrative functions dispersed to others. The role offers fully remote functionality if experienced in insurance accounting.

Responsibilities in the role include:

  • Ownership of bookkeeper functions
  • Maintain accuracy of previous books and end of month close
  • Documentation of current responsibilities and training procedures
  • Record grant distribution and donations
  • Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Strong leadership to own and improve current accounting practices
  • Prior bookkeeping experience
  • Experience in Insurance accounting practices
  • Reconciliation experience in insurance industry
  • Skills needed for this job:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills including basic formulas and building spreadsheets
