Accounting Principals is seeking a Bookkeeper for a contract position in Western Suffolk County. This position

requires a strong command of social skills and a readiness to collaborate with others and at least 2 years

of experience. Knowledge of QuickBooks is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll duties.


• Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for


• Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

• Monitor accounts by balancing entries

• Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents

• Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

• Manage day-to-day relationships with clients while performing within established processes and budget


• Keep abreast of the latest developments in technologies to deliver outstanding quality service


• Solid organizational skills and detail oriented

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• Brilliant written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and in conflict situations

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks
