Business local to the Hackensack, New Jersey area is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper on a temp to hire basis. As a smaller company, this is a central role and is considered a high priority. Prior bookkeeping experience is required, as well as familiarity with QuickBooks. Please note that this position is on-site.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts payables
Assist with collections and make reconciliations as needed
Interract with customers/vendors to assist with questions about their account
Assist outside accounting firm with month and year-end process
Enter journal entries into QuickBooks
Providing administrative support
Qualifications:
Prior bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of QuickBooks and comfortable working in MS Excel
Strong interpersonal skills
Reliable
