Accounting Principals has a client located in Brownstown, IN that is looking for a Bookkeeper to help in their accounting department. This position would oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable process as well as assisting the Controller with month-end and year-end close. Our client needs someone with an exceptional drive as well as 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
Enter vendor invoices into the system, accurately and timely
Create and send invoices to clients
Code accounts for payment
Research billing issues and work toward resolutions both internally and externally
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Requirements
Knowledge of GAAP
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
3+ years of experience in a similar role
Employment Type: Contract to Hire, Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
