Accounting Principals has partnered with an established company in the retail sector that is looking for a knowledgeable, results-driven Bookkeeper for their team.
A typical day in this role will include processing of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and assisting with month end close. The right candidate should have 3+ years of bookkeeping / accounting experience and have excellent technical skills.
Our client is located in Tempe, AZ, and this is an in-office position. This is a full time role working regular Monday-Friday business hours.
Job Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices and handle all weekly check runs
Initiate all customer billing, process payments and handle collections as needed
Assist with month end close and bank reconciliations
Assist customers with questions and special requests
Communicate with vendors and subcontractors when necessary
Requirements:
3+ years of bookkeeping and accounting experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and problem solve effectively
Reliable and dependable
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full Time Business Hours
Compensation: $45,000 to $55,000 annually, depending on experience
