Accounting Principals is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper with excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail in the Oklahoma City area.  In this role, you will keep books and prepare monthly compilations for several different clients. Having payroll experience is a plus with W-2 and 1099 experience.  If you are looking for a new place to work - apply online today!

Responsibilities range from:

  • Recording transactions, making journal entries, and reconciling accounts.
  • Preparation of client financials.
  • Preparing and filing various payroll reports – 940, 941, W2’s, 1099s, etc.
  • Processing weekly payrolls for clients.
  • Assisting with incoming calls when needed and routing effectively.
  • Job Qualifications (knowledge, skills and abilities)

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assertive, proactive, and accurate in the accomplishment of tasks.
  • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects while working with minimal supervision
  • Job requirements:

  • High School diploma required. College degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
  • QuickBooks experience is preferred but not required.
  • Employment Type: Full-time

    Work hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
