We are currently working with a rapidly growing company located in Chicago, IL. They are in search of a candidate to help fill their open Bookkeeper role. The perfect candidate will be motivated, self-driven, and excel in working in a team environment. They must also have some previous bookkeeping experience.
Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices
- Data entry and administrative duties
- Prepare journal entries
- Prepare account reconciliations
- Assist with G/L account analysis worksheets in Microsoft Excel
Qualifications of the Bookkeeper role:
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- Must have three years of Bookkeeping experience
- Experience with bank reconciliations, general ledger and journal entries is a plus
- Great customer services skills
- Attention to detail and adapts quick to change
- Strong with QuickBooks and Excel
