We are working with an insurance company on the southside to find a full-charge Bookkeeper! This will be a direct hire position. Must have at least 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper or full-cycle Accounting position. Great opportunity to join a fast paced, fun, family-like office! Awesome benefits package as well. Responsibilities to include:

  • AP and AR reconciliations
  • Posting journal entries and assist with month end
  • Daily cash recordings
  • Work closely with the Assistant Controller on projects
  • Assist with clerical/administrative duties as needed 
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Bookkeeper position or equivalent role handling most accounting responsibilities
  • Insurance industry experience preferred but not required
  • Must be proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Must be an independent worker who can work well without supervision
