Our client, a construction company, located in Richmond, Virginia, is searching for a Bookkeeper, to work in the office, contract-to-hire.
Contract Pay: $18 to $20 an hour
Permanent Salary: $40K to $45K
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Position: Reporting to the Office Manager, this position will be responsible for handling the Company’s financial record keeping, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements and completing required tax filings.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping with a strong knowledge of accounting processes
- Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Analytic, organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
