Billing Specialist

Accounting Principals is searching for a temporary to hire Billing Specialist for a company in the professional services industry. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of office, administrative, or accounting experience. This role is unique in the sense that you need to have professional communication skills for follow-up with internal customers and be able to perform accounting tasks for client accounts. Your main responsibilities will be composing invoices, processing payments, and updating client information. You will have the opportunity to learn other functions in the accounting department and get other great perks after you are converted to a permanent employee.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Calculating billing hours and composing invoices
  • Reviewing invoices for grammatical errors and ensuring completeness before sending out
  • Processing client payments
  • Updating client information
  • Coordinating with internal customers to ensure payments
  • Desired Skill Set:

  • At least a year of office, administrative, or accounting experience
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work between different software systems quickly
  • This opportunity offers great entry level accounting experience in a company with some competitive benefits. This position is in downtown Seattle, WA so there will be no parking offered, but you will receive an Orca card when you are converted permanently.
