Accounting Principals is currently recruiting for a Billing Specialist for our client, an established construction company in Fairlawn OH. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a great culture and room for growth!

This position will involve reviewing work orders and contracts in order to create customer invoices. This person will be responsible for using external portals, mail and email to send invoices to customers and working with collections to resolve billing related discrepancies. To be a good fit for this position you should have at least two years of billing and accounts receivable experience. If that experience is in the construction industry, that is a huge plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Review work orders and contracts in order to create customer invoices
  • Use mail, email and customer billing portals to send created invoices
  • Use Excel to calculate and report billing margins
  • Communicate with the Collections department to resolve billing related issues
  • Assist management with monthly reports and ad hoc projects
  • Job Requirements:

  • At least two years of billing and accounts receivable experience
  • Experience in the construction industry is required
  • Must be tech savvy and comfortable working in several systems
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Job Details:

  • Hours - Full Time, M-F Business Hours
  • Permanent / Long Term
  • Pay - $19-21 per hour, DOE
