Accounting Principals is currently recruiting for a Billing Specialist! Our client offers great benefits and perks within a professional environment. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Nashville!

Our client seeks a self-motivated, detail oriented individual that is a team player with excellent work ethic. Candidate must  have exemplary communication with clients and coworkers. 

This position will assist with accounts receivables efforts daily. Will require intuitive understanding of e-billing platforms and legal services billing procedures and processes.

Candidates will maintain contact with attorneys with regards to billing, budgets, collection efforts and will observe confidentiality of client and firm matters.

Prior work experience in a law firm preferred.

  • Review, correct and process client invoices throughout the month in addition to serving as technical assistant to the firm
  • Review critical past due invoices over 90+ days on a routine basis for offices and/or assigned clients.
  • Submit audits reports for previously submitted disputes as needed.
  • Follow up on A/R for e-billing clients and other clients as assigned and requested.
  • Answer inquiries from staff and attorneys via phone and email in reference to billing, audits and A/R.
  • Troubleshoot e-billing issues causing delays in payment of bills.
  • 2 to 5 years billing experience is required, preferably in a professional services environment.

    Qualified candidates should be proficient in Excel, Word and 10-key.

    Experience in Aderant Accounting Software is a plus.

    Candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented and work with little or no supervision.
