We are hiring a Medical Billing Manager for one of our top healthcare organizations in the Central Florida area. We are seeking a experienced billing professional to handle coding and auditing functions for physicians and providers, along with corresponding documentation for reporting. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and has a high degree of accuracy, professional, and ability to showcase strong leadership skills.  

Job Overview

  • Lead a team of 4-5 through daily billing operations
  • Reviewing medical records and extracting ICD10 and CPT codes for billing purposes
  • Conduct chart-review and build charges using E&M guidelines
  • Establish necessity of charges and work with third party billing companies
  • Third party billing to include payment posting, denials, and prior authorizations
  • Assign appropriate diagnosis codes and procedure codes, and link proper diagnosis code with appropriate codes.
  • Liaise with physicians for additional information as needed to complete accurate coding tasks.
  • Process clinical charges in a timely manner, and review and process claims for accuracy as to include insurance and coding compliance
  • Submit reports to show weekly production.
  • Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Certified Coding Specialist Physician base (CCS-P), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Evaluation and Management Coder (CEMC)
  • 5 years or greater of coding experience.
  • OSHA, Compliance, and HIPPA knoweldge.
  • Specific expertise in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPS coding in a professional coding environment
  • ICD-10, CPT and E&M coding
  • eClinicalWorks, Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must be proficient with Medicare guidelines
