Billing Coordinator

Accounting Principals is looking for a Billing Coordinator for a client of ours located in Solon, Ohio. This is with a reputable construction organization that offers growth/advancement opportunities. The ideal candidate will have prior construction billing experience as well as experience with AIA billing. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices for accuracy and recommend revisions as needed
  • Prepare backup for invoices
  • Update invoices to reflect approved changes and proofread edits in the accounting system
  • Audit, review, and reconcile invoices
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external clients and ad hoc reporting as requested
  • Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of recent construction billing experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • AIA billing knowledge is a plus 
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a high level of accuracy
  • Employment Type: Contract to hire 

    Work Hours: 40 hours per week 

    Compensation: $20 to $24 an hour, depending on experience
