Accounting Principals is partnering with a growing energy company to identify an individual for a contract to hire Billing Associate job in San Diego, CA.   You must have a minimum of two years of invoicing and analysis to be considered for the role.  This role is 100% remote and the company has a great team-oriented environment and offers opportunity for advancement.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data and review invoices for accuracy before sending to customers.

 

Billing Associate Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Prepare and analyze invoices for accuracy before sending
  • Work heavily within Microsoft Excel to analyze data (using formulas, advanced functions and lookups)
  • Consult with internal colleagues to identify trends and verify what additional analysis is needed
  • Run daily, weekly and monthly reports
  • Process billing for client timely and accurately
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with testing new applications and assist with process improvement
  •  

    Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of experience in an invoicing, analytical or related role
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, functions, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong customer service skills
