 Accounts Receivable Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Accounts Receivable Administrator is expected to work as a valuable member of the Finance Department.  Responsible for applying payments against customer accounts, reconciliation of payments, month-end processing and other administrative support for the credit function.


Pay up to $50K


  • Coordinate and apply daily deposits from multiple sources
  • Post approximately 40 - 50 checks per hour
  • Balance journals with deposits
  • Serve as liaison between company's. branches and customers for reconciliation of short paid accounts.
  • Heavy phone and email contact with customers for account reconciliation
  • End of month duties such as aging and unapplied cash clean-up, creating miscellaneous reports
  • General office duties of answering phones and other office assistance as needed
  • Weekly follow up on open balances by directly contacting customers and other departments
  • Serve as support for the credit and collections department
  • Secondary contact for credit applications
  • Make collection calls as directed
  • Administrative support for bi-annual audit
  • Other duties as assigned

  • BS/BA in accounting with 1 year direct experience or five plus years of accounts receivable experience if no degree; possess good general math skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
