Description:

Have you seen a professional with at least 5 years of experience in the accounting world? Do they have experience in AR/Collections processes? If so, please send them this way! Accounting Principals has partnered with a client that currently has a full-time role for an AR Manager located in the Lewisville area. This is a direct hire opportunity and pays 80k – 100k depending on experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Train, supervise and coordinate daily operations of AR team to effectively process and track receivables
  • Responsible for Accounts Receivable month end closing
  • Set up new tax codes; update tax codes monthly; enter tax code adjustments or credits
  • Prepare and present credit limit reports for adjustment and receivable activity to company executives each month
  • Liaison on all credit related issues, including assisting dealerships with opening/increasing limits
  • Ensure delinquency issues are addressed to store personnel for action
  • Maintain AR operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; identifying system improvements
  • Assume full responsibility for the accuracy of the accounts receivable aging and ensuring the A/R team is actively managing and monitoring past due invoices
  • Monitor customer remittance discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective measures
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and other transactions
  • Other duties as assigned
  •  

    Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in the accounting department required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred
  • Experienced in AR process including customer credit function
  • Intermediate to expert experience with Excel
  • ADP/CDK dealership business system experience is a plus
  • Dealership experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
