Accounting Principals has partnered with a Dallas, TX company to hire an AR Clerk for a full-time position paying up to $21 per hour. The AR Clerk will report directly to the AR Manager. The primarily responsible will be the daily accounts receivable processes, including posting cash receipts, EFT & credit card payments, returns and credit adjustments to customer accounts. A working knowledge of JD Edwards is preferred. 

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately review and process cash receipts
  • Review & post cash receipt batches
  • Reconcile account balances and process necessary adjustments
  • Month End Process & Reporting
  • Support customer and internal inquiries by investigating and resolving any questions/ concerns
  • Audit Research
  • Various office duties, as needed
  • Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; or a minimum of 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, comprehend and understand instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Ability to effectively and professionally present information one-on-one and in small group situations to customers, clients and other employees within the organization
  • Strong Mathematical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • Standard Microsoft Office skills; Intermediate Excel Skills and 10-key
  • Experience with direct impact on customer accounts
  • Detail oriented and understands importance of deadlines
