Accounting Principals has partnered with a law firm in North Dallas, TX that is hiring an Accounts Payable/Billing Specialist as a direct hire employee. This opportunity is paying $50,000-$60,000 a year depending on experience.  If you have three plus years of billing, accounts payable experience and have worked in the legal industry, then please keep reading:  

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable
  • Monthly billing of clients
  • heavy data entry of client direct expenses
  • Daily client quick checks
  • Retrieval and posting of Westlaw, Texas eFile and other electronic charges
  • Maintain and reconcile firm vendor invoices for A/P
  • Maintain attorney CLE accounts
  • Processing accounts receivable daily, posting and providing cash receipts report
  • Daily approvals for vendor procurement and client expense checks
  • Review of all client-related vendor invoices and charge to client per established procedure
  • Coordinate with the Firm Administrator, the Director of Accounting/Human Resources and the Client Relations Manager on collaborative projects and other accounting issues
  • Assist with administrative duties, as requested
  • Qualifications:

  • 3+ years accounting experience within the legal industry
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, in order to effectively manage and prioritize the workflow, without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong work ethic, with a high level of consistency, reliability and superior interpersonal skills.
