Accounting Principals is supporting a fantastic client in the non-profit space to fill an AP/AR Accountant position on their team. This role is on a six-month contract basis but has the possibility to extend. You will be primarily responsible for managing AP and AR functions and performing account reconciliations and financial statement preparation. If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you! 

Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports
  • Prepare and analyze billing invoices
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for 5+ accounts
  • Financial Statement Preparation
  • Perform monthly account analysis
  • Responsible for assisting with the general ledger reconciliations for the month end close
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Previous Non-Profit experience is a plus
  •
