Accounting Principals is working with one of our clients looking to fill an Accounts Payable Specialist job for the corporate office located in Emeryville, CA.  This position is hybrid and will work in-office 2 or 3 days a week and remotely for the remaining days. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience with a strong emphasis in Accounts Payable.  The preferred candidate will have NetSuite experience and be comfortable in a fast pace high volume AP environment. The role will be responsible for reviewing, coding, and entering AP invoices, process customer billings both automated and manual, review automated bills processed for exemptions, ensure all invoices are matched with purchase orders and properly coded, and assist on other projects as assigned


Qualifications for the job include:

- 3 years of full cycle 3-way matching Accounts Payable experience

- NetSuite software experience preferred

- CPG (Consumer Package Goods) experience a plus

- Strong general accounting skills knowing your debits and credits  

- Team player, able to work independently, and take initiative

- Reliable, thorough, and meets deadlines

- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized

- Solid communications (written & verbal)

- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)


Experience: 3 plus years of Accounts Payable experience

Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 DOE

Employment Type: Temporary (2 – 3 months)
